Goa will be hosting India’s first Art and Science convergence in the form of a festival. It will involve a confluence of Scientists and artists from all over the world all on one platform. The story of light festival will mark diverse mix of artists who will determine numerous facts of light through workshops, performances and installations. The story of light will be a very unique festival as it will showcase light across various disciplines. Chairman of International Year of Light (IYL) said, bringing together the scientists and artists from all over the world together will be a great event. The entire event is organized in partnership with the corporation of the city of Panjim.
As a whole, IYL 2015 is an event organized by the United Nations. UN wants people to know about the inventions in the field of light. Light is of great importance and comes to great applications for human beings, so they should know about it really well. The event promises to be a very unique and interactive gathering. The area around river Mandovi and nearby historic areas will be converted into wonderful, creative, entertaining and educational spots. We are looking forward to the event as it will be a knowledgeable one along with lots of fun.
